Beyond the kitchen, Berkus also offered suggestions for styling the radiators, proposing custom covers with grilles to conceal the pipes and create a console-like appearance. He also felt the coffee table lacked a sense of place in the room, recommending it be positioned to face the window, allowing Carrie to connect with the city while writing.
