In a bid to revolutionize the way we build homes, Finnish architect Matti Kuittinen has unveiled a groundbreaking tiny house concept made from recycled steel and sustainable materials.

Measuring just 365 square feet, the aptly named Tiny House Shadow is a modular, portable dwelling designed to minimize its environmental footprint. Kuittinen, an Aalto University professor, collaborated with Scandinavian construction companies to bring his vision to life.

At the heart of the project is SSAB Zero™ steel, a fossil carbon emissions-free material used for the house's facade. This innovative manufacturing process reduces emissions and offers a durable, lightweight option for prefabricated structures.

By using 56% recycled materials and minimizing waste, Tiny House Shadow slashes its resource consumption by 85% compared to traditional homes. This translates to a 43% reduction in the house's overall footprint.
